This is a great list. I use an e-mail relevant to my career. Either marketing4@mac.com or b2bmarketing1@mac.com. I will consider a variation of my name as long as it is an alias. When I use my core account e-mail name I get spammed. Alias’ can be turned off.

I never considered a PDF for my resume. I will try this. But, it seems to change the spacing format somewhat. I want to avoid broken paragraphs and hanging first sentences (my resume is 3 pages, my career is over 25 years).

I never include FaceBook on my resume but, I DO include my LinkedIN address. This has gotten good visibility and responses from recruiters/hiring managers.

I am reading your articles for the first time today (at least a dozen). Most are excellent, the rest are outstanding.

Sure, those emails are more interesting. But, you never know what it might mean to someone else. Remember, your personal email and job search email are two different things. You can have both. More importantly…about that alternative energy company you’ve been dreaming about. Wake up and start it!! It’s time!

Wow, Molly! My only mistake might be my email handle: earth2joy. But since I like it so much, maybe I should just give up the job search entirely and start up that alternative energy corporation I’ve been dreaming of all these years. I’ve always thought interesting email handles were much better than Joy_Miller147@yahoo.com — just my opinion.

Hi Molly….love your blog. You can tell alot about people by the way they come across in writing. You are too funny! I am looking forward to meeting you at the end of the week. You’ve gotta love a woman who says exactly what she feels and isn’t afraid to tell it like it is.

BTW, I’m in the process of changing my personal email address….ha ha! Good advice!
